Is there justice in Cyber Bullying ?

Is there justice in Cyber bullying?
*Sighs* and drops to her bed, with tears coming down from her ey
es. You think you really know a person when you seriously don’t. How do you know there problems at home? There is only one person that can describe their life and that is themselves. Cyber bullying is when a child, preteen or teens is tormented, threatened, harassed, humiliated, embarrassed or otherwise targeted by another child, preteen or teen using the internet to contact others and Bully them. Everyone has feelings and that’s what can get hurt the most. You don’t know how they can react to the situation because everyone has their own personality. Cyber bullying is really stupid because teens really have no life doing this, but I know that sometimes a person can be jealous of what others have. Children should have more confidence in themselves because “Courage is fire and bulling is smoke” None of us should be bullied into silence because we all have different opinions on things.  Justice? What is Justice? To me justice is Something that is balanced, like respect for example if I give it to you I would like it back, because you would want to treat a person the same way you would want to be treated. Nobody is different, were all the same just have a different perspective. Cyber bullying has to be stopped. And when we say stop Not 10 years later! We mean Now.  Think about how many kids are suffering about Cyber bullying and even regular bullying. Kids are going suicidal because of other kids. And some of them aren’t even the same age. It’s horrible to find out that your child is being bully. For no reason. What did they do to deserve that kind of treatment?
Suicidal isn’t Just in one place it can be in many. But in Jersey City “Facebook” just one little rumor, not even true, it can lead to one huge fight that can have a big impact. Kids get hurt threw the internet everyday and it hurts, and each time it happens, its leads them to killing themselves. Why? Because they’re starting to have low self esteem. Can you imagine yourself being bullied? By someone who isn’t your own age? , well if not believe it. Not too long ago a boy, who is 14 years old, got arrested from Jersey City for Bullying a younger boy, who is 12 because he thought that the 12 year old was trying to take his girl away from him. I find that really stupid. Don’t you think? He sent a “Facebook” message to this young child calling him “Gay” “Fat” and “A Punk”. He also threatened to kill and hurt him, and to tie him to a pole, attach a rope and hook to the boys stomach tie it to his car and drive off tearing his body. This boy also used fake scream names on Facebook after he was blocked 3 times. All that over a girl? Now tell me was that necessary? Just because you have a girl doesn’t mean you’re the “shit” and you don’t have to go bully someone. Maybe she was his friend you never know what could have happened. But Bullying isn’t only in Jersey City. It’s around the world. This Young girl Also got harassed by Facebook, and all she did was go to school and so what if she looked pretty? She didn’t need to hang herself because of a stupid reason. But she did because of cyber bullying. Cyber bullying has gone out of control and it needs to be stopped. It causes so many problems that don’t need to be made. Innocent people are getting killed because of pathetic reasons. Now since I’ve stated my opinion would you like to give me yours ?

  1. I think that the issue that you choose to speak about was a very important in today’s society and I’m glad that you took time to raise awareness on cyber bullying. Something interesting I learned from your blog is that someone typing something insulting towards someone can hurt just as much as if they were saying it to your face. Something you could have done to improve your blog would be to add statistics to make it more reliable.

  2. Agreed, Ashley! It is a very important topic, especially as more and more websites pop up that allow for faceless interaction between people. More statistics and facts, rather than just opinion, would indeed have made it stronger.
